Responsive bootstrap WordPress theme development
According to various sources, WordPress is the world’s most popular CMS so it’s not surprising there are thousands of off-the-shelf themes and plugins to jump start development of any site. But nearly every site I’ve worked on as a WordPress developer required some degree of customisation be it minor styling to match a brand or fully bespoke functionality. Off-the-shelf or custom WordPress themes?
I use both. I can create custom, responsive, lightweight themes from scratch based on the bootstrap library or use an off-the-shelf theme. If you have a preference for an existing theme I can most likely work with it or I’d be happy to advise. I’m a big fan of popular themes such as Enfold as they can accelerate development by offering huge flexibility in terms of the look and functionality of a site and also offer more options for day to day management than WordPress does out of the box.
Custom functionality
As a WordPress freelancer I’ve developed a wide variety of technical solutions over the years, often to integrate clients’ specific news or job feed requirements and as a result I’ve worked with most of the major vacancy management and recruitment software suppliers. I’ve created bespoke geo location lookups and maps, custom databases, shopping cart extensions and all manner of minor and major tweaks and additions that make the clients’ life easier and more efficient when managing the site.
